  2. 1/2 cup maida
  3. 1 small ripe mango pulp (grind it into a smooth paste)
  4. 1/2 cup beaten yoghurt
  5. 1/4 cup unsalted butter

  7. 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  8. 2/3 cup milk
  9. 1 tsp baking powder
  10. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  11. 1 tsp Mango essence
  12. as per need Few drops of yellow food colour
  13. 2 tbsp chopped dried mango

Steps to make to make Mango Suji Cake

  1. In bowl add yoghurt, oil, butter, powdered sugar, mango puree and mix everything well. Then add suji to it and mix it.
  2. Then keep a strainer over the bowl and add maida, baking powder and baking soda. Strain everything well and mix it well.
  3. Now add milk to it and give it a good mix. Add mango essence to it and mix it. Now add dried chopped mangoes to it mix it.
  4. Add few drops of yellow food colour to it and finally give it a good mix.
  5. Now grease a cake tin with some oil and put the butter paper over it. Now pour the cake mixture in it. Tap the cake-tin twice to remove the air-bubbles, if any.
  6. Now for pre-heating, take a kadai with it's base covered with salt and a stand over it. Cover it and pre-heat the kadai for 5 mins on high flame and then 3 mins. on medium flame.
  7. Now place the cake-tin over the stand and cover it immediately. Bake it on a low flame for about 45 mins.
  8. Then switch off the flame. Let it cool down completely & then demould it. Enjoy this unique melt-in-mouth cake with your loved ones.
