- As needed Few curry leaves (optional)
- 1 tsp oil
Steps to make to make Mango pudina chutney
- Place a kadhai. Heat it with oil. Crackle cumin seeds. Add dry red chillies. Add pudina leaves, salt, turmeric. Saute till leaves are cooked. Don't overfry.
- Now cool the pudina leaves.
- Prepare for grinding. Take a grinding jar, add mango pieces, cloves of garlic, cooked tempered pudina, jaggery powder,salt and little water. Grind this well.
- Check for seasonings. Adjust as required. Chutney must be nice and thick not runny. So add water accordingly.
- Next prepare for tempering. Heat a tadka pan with oil. Crackle mustard seeds,cumin seeds and curry leaves. Add this tadka into the chutney.
- Sprinkle powder of cumin and dry red chillies on the chutney. Mix all well. Keep it for sometime so that flavours get combined with each other.
- Then serve. You can have this with any meal. Store in an airtight container and have for a day or two...
